I’ll be there on a new bike with a new team and I’m really looking forward to seeing the HM Plant KTM team working under race circumstances and also to break myself into what will be a long season. I hope the weather is kind to HIMX this year as it will make for great racing for us riders and all the spectators.”
James Dunn suffered some nasty injuries at Hawkstone British Championship but is eager to make a good return to mx racing.
James Dunn – “2013 was a big year for me racing in the MX2 Championship class for the first time. Unfortunately my season ended early due to a big crash at Hawkstone Park whilst racing in the British Championships in August. I broke both my heels and my ankle and the recovery has been a very long and slow process. However, my first race back will be the Hawkstone International on February 23rd and I am as keen as ever to get back on the bike and get racing again! See you there!”
James Cottrell – “I can’t wait to race at Hawkstone, the track is always good and it’s a tough warm up race to get the season started with the level of competition that is always there. I really like Hawkstone as a track and have an awesome new team with HM Plant KTM, so I’m hoping for good results there to kick start my season.”
Ben Watson – “2013 was a good year for me, it was my debut year in the MX2 class and I really enjoyed it. I understand the bike more now and really looking forward to getting going in 2014. Hawkstone is a great track and to mix it with some of the world’s best riders will be brilliant.
